Driving Lessons
When you have your first driving lesson Andy Inwood's School of Motoring, Watford, you will need to bring your driving licence and be able to read a number plate from 20.5m. Do not worry if you feel a little nervous on your first driving lesson as most people are. Learning to drive will take place at your own speed, in a friendly, fun and enjoyable environment.
Theory
Before you can book your practical driving test you will need to pass a theory test. You can practice this alongside your driving lessons. I will help in any way I can, and will order CD Roms on both theory questions and hazard and perception tests if required.
Pass Plus
The pass plus course consist of 6 hours of training for drivers who have just passed their practical. The course covers town driving, all weather driving, rural roads, night driving, dual carriageway driving and motorway driving. On completion of the course at Andy Inwood's School of Motoring, Watford, you will receive a pass plus certificate which may qualify you for a discount on your insurance policy.
Refresher Course
A fully qualified driver who has not driven for a while or nervous after an accident. A refresher course will make you more confident and relaxed. I can also help with any parking woes.
Motorways
Motorways are like no other roads. Learn how to drive on them correctly and safely under expert supervision. These lessons cover approaching the motorway, leaving the motorway, driving on motorways, changing lanes, speed and indication. They also cover safety when driving on a motorway – what to do and how to stay safe in the event of a breakdown or accident.
Eco-driver training
Eco-driver training will save you money, most drivers on the road do not use their vehicle in the most fuel efficient way. Eco-driver training gives you the knowledge of modern vehicles and how to ensure they perform at their most fuel efficient. The average driver can expect to reduce fuel consumption by at least 10% drivers who drive in a more Eco-friendly manner find items such as tyres and brakes last longer.
